Analysis of the Effect of Competence on the Performance of Outsourcing Engineering Technical Services in PT PLN (Persero) Region Unit North Sumatera

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to find out and analyze the influence of competencies consisting of knowledge variables, knowledge and attitude towards the performance of Technical Services at PT. PLN (Persero) North Sumatra Main Unit of Medan Customer Service Implementation Unit. Data analysis methods used include descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis including F test, t test, multiple linear regression and coefficient of determination R2. Research results show that performance can be explained by variables of knowledge, skills and behavior of 63.5%. From the results of the F-test that the variables of knowledge, skills and behavior simultaneously have a significant effect on performance. From the multiple regression equation based on the pattern or influence of independent variables on the dependent variable, it can be concluded that the most influential on performance is the skill of 64.6%, then knowledge of 19% and behavior of 4.8%.
